Hello, we're Tiny Equations 👋

Breaking
Barriers,
Building Brilliance.

We're a mission-driven team building a Learning OS that maps, tracks, and optimises mastery across entire syllabi — moving learners beyond memorisation toward real understanding.

hi — I'm Tiny!

Tiny mascot

our big idea, in one breath

Education shouldn't depend on geography, privilege, or access to tuition.
It should depend on structured mastery.

what we stand for

Vision, Mission & Values

The principles guiding every line of code, every pilot, every conversation.

Our vision

A level playing field, for every learner.

Quality education shouldn't depend on your postcode or your parents' income. We're building an AI-powered Learning OS so students in underserved communities have access to the same calibre of personalised guidance as the world's best-resourced learners.

A personal Learning OS that:

  • meets you where you are, not where you "should" be
  • fills gaps step-by-step with genuine understanding
  • adapts to your curriculum, pace, and learning style
  • works for every student — regardless of means

Our mission

Build real learners. Not exam robots.

Passing an exam is not the same as understanding the material. Our tools help students achieve genuine mastery — the kind that builds real capability and stays long after the test is over.

Solutions that:

  • build conceptual depth, not surface-level recall
  • give rubric-aligned, actionable feedback
  • reward understanding over memorisation
  • make self-directed learning possible at any scale

— our five values —

Empowerment

We design systems that show students exactly where they stand and what to do next.

Innovation

We pioneer mastery-based intelligence that goes beyond static AI tutoring.

Collaboration

We partner with educators and institutions to refine real classroom impact.

Inclusivity

Our freemium model ensures accessibility, while pilots support scalable adoption.

Purpose-driven

We build responsibly, aligning every innovation with measurable learning outcomes.

our story

Here's how we
started.

In a world racing toward automation, we believe AI should amplify human intelligence — not replace it.

1
2023

A frustration with fragmented learning

Three students at SUTD, tired of watching peers grind past papers without ever understanding the why. The first sketches of a "mastery map" appeared on whiteboards.

2
2024

First SUTD Baby Shark Fund

Awarded our first SUTD Baby Shark Fund grant, validating the idea and giving us the runway to build the Mastery Intelligence System's first prototype — small, hand-fed, and very curious.

2025

Incorporated & funded again

Tiny Equations is officially incorporated. We win a second SUTD Baby Shark Fund grant and are recognised at the Singapore Valley Awards. TinyQ, TinyTeach, and TinyMark take shape.

Pilots across Southeast Asia

Working with forward-thinking schools to validate classroom impact, refine adaptive pathways, and align with local rubrics.

powered by the

Mastery Intelligence System

The backbone of our Learning OS — an AI engine that tracks conceptual mastery, maps prerequisite relationships, and adapts dynamically to any curriculum or rubric.

a system built to be:

We are not building another AI tool. We are building the foundation layer for mastery-based education.

the humans behind it

Meet the leadership team.

Three co-founders, one common belief: that mastery is a right, not a privilege.
