Business Strategy, Finance & Operations

Matthew is a Co-Founder of Tiny Equations, where he leads business strategy, finance, operations, and research direction. From the company's earliest stages, he defined its long-term vision and drove its incorporation. He also established the governance and operational frameworks that enable disciplined execution as the team scales.

He oversees financial stewardship and compliance, ensuring the company grows on a stable and accountable foundation. He also leads institutional partnerships and strategic alignment. At the same time, he remains closely involved in product direction, ensuring that the evolution of the Mastery Intelligence System reflects both commercial viability and meaningful educational impact.

Matthew also leads Tiny Equations' research and validation initiatives. Working closely with the LKYCIC team at SUTD, he coordinates academic collaborations, model validation studies, and publication efforts to strengthen the intellectual property and research credibility of the company's AI algorithms. His focus on defensible innovation ensures that the platform is grounded in evidence rather than trend-driven development.

Beyond Tiny Equations, Matthew is the Founder and Managing Director of SolvingSeeds Sdn. Bhd., supporting regional expansion initiatives in Malaysia and strengthening cross-border technology partnerships. He has also conducted education workshops and crash courses for secondary school students, reflecting his long-standing commitment to making quality learning more accessible.

Currently a final year undergraduate at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), he is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Design, specialising in Financial Technology (FinTech). His academic training reinforces his interest in building validated, scalable systems at the intersection of AI, data, governance, and real-world impact.
